E-BUSINESS IN INDIA

E-BUSINESS IN INDIA

E-business: is the automatic business practices using advIT/IS. This automation improve business by reducing time it take people to carry them out and reduce errors by human intervention.
Electronic business( known as e-business) is at a young age in India and the growth is slow and is confined to few major cities. The slow in the growth of e-business is due to the fact that lot of people in India don't have to internet or can't afford to have one. In the US, for example, more than 41% of the population are online and do businesses online, while in India less than 0.5% of the people are online and less than 10% of those online buy product online.
some of the reason for the slowness in the growth of e-business in India is because of lack of Infastructure. For the e-business to be successful people should have access to internet and telephone but the India's telecom is still in the early stage.

However, the NASSCOM predicts a shortfall of IT workers in India due to the fact, India has become a major suppliers of IT workers for United States of America and Europeans.
